Exclamation 4.3/700r4 troubles -_-

Hey guys! recently..as of today, my jag has been dipping real bad when given gas to pull out onto a main road, and a little less noticeable while just driving and accelerating. It starts to go maybe 3 ft, RPM drops to virtually 0, the car dips violently, then it picks back up like nothing is wrong. only seems to do this when taking off. My dad thinks its looking for a gear in the tranny, but i think its more of a computer/fuel problem. Could it just be bad gas or need a tune up? i dont have any check engine lights on...although since this car is supposed to have a 5.3L v12 and not the 4.3L v6, ,im not sure if everything is connected to the right lights. it almost feels like how my 78 Camaro would respond when the choke was open too much and i gave it gas in the cold. What do you guys think this could be? Thanks!

my s10 does the same thing. 4.3 with 700 trans.

not as bad as what your saying but i notice it basically only a mile after start up. i did a tuneup and it helped for like a month and started doing it again lol.

my fuel lines are all kinda rusty so im going to be making up new lines with a fresh fuel fliter and pump. hope that helps me as idk how old that fuel filter is.

according to the guy i got the car from, fresh fuel lines and what not were run. a tune up looks to be kind of like a bitch because the engine wasnt meant for that car. but it could use one and i have to drill through the wheel wells. I'll be doing that next week. i just hope to god its nothing with the tranny. i can fix engines lol. i see the new MSD fuel pump and filter in the trunk though. I'll throw a some fuel system cleaner and tune it up and see if it gets any better then. Wish me luck!

Yeah, it's tbi. And the tps could be an issue, it does stall once in a while. Not to mention while stopping the idle sometimes drops then picks up again.
