Any experiences with Deuces (M35)
Out of curiosity, someone I know is considering one of these as a weekend warrior in the summer time. I want to know what it's like owning one, what to look out for.. and any stories you may have with one be it relevant. Odds are it will never see real city traffic, and the person also know's how to drive stick (the person also know it's got the low and high gears). Just trying to pick out some stuff so I can either help my friend towards it or away from it. I personally think it's a badass idea to go to the beach loaded up with friends and take the 15 mile drive to the beach right up the White Horse Pike and park on the beach.

Theyre awesome trucks. Try to get one with the cummins multi fuel in it.
My friend has one bobbed down to a 10 foot bed with a single rear axle. Its like an over sized pick up now and is a blast to drive. If you buy one and register is as 25,000 GVWR theres no CDL required.
If you've never driven an MD or HD truck before than take some time to get used to the slow steering and slow shifts, it can be odd.

I've seen a few parked at the beach in Brigantine and there's a whole lot full of them in I believe Hammonton on Rt30... it would be an attention grabber..

Maintainece can be very expensive, Tires are costly, and watch out for rust.
I want a M35 so bad but there is absolutely no justification for me to own one, none, I tried to come up with a reason but can't. I would be one bad ass suburb commando though, scaring old ladies and the enlightened everywhere. Damn it I'm going to ebay and browse M35's now.
