To me, 4th gens are still too new. When I see them, it triggers the feeling I got when they first came out. I can still remember thinking they looked weird, mostly because they didn't look like a third gen. I would love to own a 4th gen formula or trans am, but my heart sticks with third gens.
Plus 4th gens are a b*tch to work on. And don't get me started on the non-fbody 5th gens...

So true man. I remember my freshmen h/s yearbook how everyone wished me luck in getting my iroc. Had an '84 junior year that i sold to buy an '89 for senior year...then went to imports for the next 10 years only to return to a 3rd gen again...its just what you grew up with...3rd gens and fox bodies were all around my town in the 90's. Father had a 2nd gen berlinetta growing up and never really dug that body style save for some z's or all t/a's..lol. Its funny now i have the funds to buy a 1st gen but am leaning towards a 5th gen now but am running outta garage space.

I am kind of indiscriminate with what I like/would own/have owned. The only exception are first and third gen 'birds, which don't do too much for me.

I've been through at least 11 first gen's (still have the current 69 Z28 JL8 car), one 2nd gen (the 1970 L78), and three 4th gen Camaros so far. I'm trying to get the 69 Z28 finished and trying to hold back from buying another 2nd gen to play with but it will be tough if a nice clean car pops up for sale. At least I have the 2 boats to eat away at my wallet even if I only have 1 Camaro right now.

I feel like I would drive ANY car if I liked it. My first car was a thirdgen because it was cheap and available. When I was looking for a dd in 08 I really wanted an 02 4thgen being that they wee still kind of new but out of my price range. I almost picked up an 80 camaro with a zz4 and th350 but decided that it would be a terrible dd just like the 84 would be. I love almost all fbodies and yes I have my favorites in different generations but I think the real topic of this thread should be jeep demographics.

29 here, have owned 2 3rd gens. I had an '85 Camaro 2.8/A4 car back in high school and I currently have an '87 Camaro that's no where near ready for the road and it pretty much in limbo.
