Recommend me a slave/master cyl
Can anyone recommend me a slave/master that will have stock pedal feel but reduce the clutch pedal travel? I have issues with my knees so I don't want to be standing on the clutch pedal all the time, but want to lose some travel. My ls6 clutch just took a dump on me, it was only a matter of time tho, and no I did not install the ls6 it was in the car when I got it so Im just going to replace everything.

Any time you increase master cylinder volume it will increase the force necessary to operate it. There is really no way around it..
We recommend a McLeod adjustable master, very high quality and constructed out of aluminum, not plastic, extremely smooth operation - $340

Stock slave cylinder. Tick master cylinder. It will increase pedal effort a tiny bit but if you go with the Mcleod RST/RXT clutch, it'll feel like stock with less travel. The RST/RXT has a light pressure plate so it greatly reduces pedal effort!

Idk if I have the money right now for the Mcleoud. I really cant have the pedal be any heavier I like to walk and dont want to be cripple lol

My tick uses a lot of pressure with an ls7 clutch at least compared to whatever was in there.

Looks like I will be going with the McLeoud rst street twin, stick slave with the tick master and remote bleeder kit.

I got the rst, will be running stock hydros for now and maybe a tick master down the line sometime.

I like my Tick master. I (for reasons beyond this thread) swapped out the 7/8 bore Tilton that is provided in the kit for a 13/16 unit, which is a middle ground between what they provide and the stock 3/4. It's still stiffer than stock but reasonable.
I personally would NEVER use a factory replacement slave other than GM (or autozone with AP cast into it from autozone, which apparently = GM) after my horrible experience with cheap Advance Auto slave and clutch components (clutch disc catastrophically failed, at a later point slave failed, at a later point pilot bearing failed...okay well the pilot bearing may have been my fault but the first two were not)
