Help Island Dragway!
As most of you now know, Island Dragway is re-opening July 4th weekend. In addition to needing volunteers, Island Dragway is not out of financial troubles and is offering ad space for banners.
As a club, we are going to be collecting donations, and based on the total, we will be put forward the funds in exchange for an NJFBOA banner, serving a dual purpose. Banner size and location will be dependent on the amount of funds raised.
This is not required in any way, and you can donate as much as you feel comfortable with.
PM me for payment details.
http://www.islanddragway.com/
Some price breakdowns (We'd be shooting for a 2014 banner, as we would get the remainder of 2013 for free):
2013 (July-Dec) 2014
Burnout Box wall (4'x8') $400.00 $600.00
Staging Lanes wall (4'x8') $300.00 $400.00
Entrance Gate (4'x8') $200.00 $300.00
Guardrail (2'x8') $400.00 $600.00
Guardrail (2'x16') $600.00 $900.00
Scoreboard (backlit) $800.00 $1,200.00
-plus name printed on timeslips
12-month wall calendar – 4000 printed (available in 2014)
Per Month $150.00
Full Year $600.

what details, his pay pal address? Bots like to pick up email addresses and spam things, etc. it's not really much to ask to PM him for info I don't think.

that is up to the individual person. $1, $1000, whatever you want.

You know, even at $20-$25 a person, I don't think we'll have a problem hitting some of these marks. The guys here at NJFBOA have shown a lot of interest in helping Island out & throwing a few bucks into the pot.
I'm in, Stalker! Thanks for getting the breakdowns together. PayPal headed your way now.
Bring on this scoreboard! (Reminds me of the "Thermometer" graph/billboard we had outside of the public library, back when our town was fundraising some years back )

Haven't made a deadline yet, but in the next week or two.
Someone can beat us to the scoreboard. We're not special.
Up to $155.
