Dynomax bullets
Anyone using the dynomax bullet race mufflers in their setups? I'm looking at putting one in and noticed they have 3 different lengths. Any difference in how much they quiet down the exhaust? I'm thinking of going with an 2.5 ory as well. Trying to tuck my pipes up a lil higher. Right now my y is sitting on my torque arms cross member, my manga flow cats might be pushing things a lil low. Right now it's stock headers -> magnaflow cats -> stock y -> 3" mid pipe from the old cat back -> turbo. Thinking about stock headers -> no cats, 2.5 y ->muffler in the mid pipe -> turbo. If the longer mufflers are quieter I probably have room for the 23" long one otherwise I'd probably go with the 18" long. Don't want to wake the neighbors more than I do, plus I don't want I don't want to be louder than I am fast

The longer ones are quieter but from my experience they didn't seem to "muffle" much. What they did for me is take down some of the high notes so the exhaust tone was more pleasant.

I wouldn't mind cutting down on some of those high tones, especially if I get rid of my cats. I'm gonna measure out how much length I have and pull the trigger on one this weekend. Then I think I'll pick up that dynomax/walker ory pipe setup. I won't need to worry about cats till next year, by then I can make a setup that's an easy swap in n out

They are cheap, I think I got mine via advance auto with a 20% off coupon?
But, mine def quieted my car down a lot.. downside is, real exhaust hurt spool time for sure, I just run open cutout now

I would do the ultra flow round except they're 6" tall. I def don't have ground clearance for that. all of my exhaust is before my turbo lol.
LTb1ow how much boost are you running?

I wonder if I could use two mini bullets and replace my cats with them. Think the DMV would notice? Lol

Depends how hard they look, but why not just get a private shop to inspect? I doubt many will look for cats all they care is if you pass the systems check no?
Magnaflow/Borla make oval bullet mufflers that may fit better if you are concerned with space.

any private shop that does not know you will care more than MVC because MVC sends setup cars to private shops.

and the fact that most shops have more invested in them, then worth it to lose when they pass illegal cars...
