I normally shut it down around 25 or so cars or within a week or two of the rental.

thankfully the damage was located near the air intake area. track officals got to it fast. a fire extinguisher will be in the car next time.
pulling the plugs and intake tonight.

Pulled the plugs tonight. all looked good except #8 the ground strap was melted down. Pulling the intake next then a leak down test. we'll see...
