I JUST GOT THE DAMN T/A BACK THIS AFTERNOON WITH NEW MOTOR MOUNTS! NOW ITS GOTTA GO BACK INTO THE SHOP BECAUSE OF THE ALTERNATOR! THATS THE SECOND ALTERNATOR HAS CRAPPED OUT ON ME IN AS MANY WEEKS! GODDAMNIT! I'M JUST GOING TO WEAR MY TRANS AM AND KNIGHTRIDER SHIRTS FROM NOW UNTIL WHEN THE CAR IS RUNNING AGAIN (YES, I WILL WASH THEM REGULARLY!)

haha, i wore my chevrolet racing shirt today for the first time since my car went into the shop. i haven't even seen my car since late july and the engine still isnt back from the machine shop yet.

As dumb as it sounds, my car actually seems to respond to threats. earlier tonight, while i was heading to Tower Records to get a tape deck cleaner, the car was going NUTS! 16, 17, almost 18 amps! I was giving my dashboard the middle finger and screaming at it to come down before i left the car at tower with a big "For Sale" sign. And, it seemed to listen...too well. when i got back in the car after tower, the car wouldnt come above 10 amps, and usually stayed more in the 8 amp area. took it home, turned it off to go inside and open up the tape deck cleaner, and when i got out and started using it, the car just NOSE DIVED down as far as amps go. i pulled the car up so my dad would be able to park next to me when he got home, cuz i knew it was on its deathbed, and sure enough, when i turned it off, and turned it on again, it didnt start. I feel pretty bad that i'm blocking in my mom's car, but, oh well. shes not up to driving now anyway.
