You know it is only under certain circumstances, and removing it will greatly increase emissions? I highly doubt you will notice any MPG gain. We only removed them in the past because they were on the intake and the good intakes didn't have provisions.

I guess your computer needs to be ‘fixed’ in order not to trip a light, right?

Edit, quick google:
EGR Theory. EGR serves one purpose and one purpose only. That purpose is to reduce Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx). Undernormal combustion, Nitrogen(N2)Oxygen (O2) in the air and Hydrocarbons (HC) in the fuel combind into water(H2O) Carbon dioxide (CO2) and the Nitrogen remains unchanged. Under very hot combustion temperatures, the Nitrogen reacts with the other two byproducts and forms Nitrogen oxide (NO). After being released into the atmosphere, it picks up another Oxygen and becomes Nitrogen dioxide (NO2). In the presence of sunlight,
it combines with other compounds like Hydrocarbons and forms Smog. Since exhaust gas is inert (very stable) it doesn’t burn again. So by being introduced into
the combustion chamber, it will lower combustion chamber temps enough so that
the Nitrogen doesn’t react with the other compounds and is passed unchanged out
the tailpipe thus not contributing to smog. Now, since exhaust gas doesn’t burn, it
doesn’t exactly help with combustion. At higher RPM’s, this really isn’t noticable,
but at idle, the reintroduction of exhaust gas will cause a very rough idle and can
cause stalling if to much is introduced into the combustion chamber

IIRC, no EGR at WOT.

EGR does nothing to help or hinder performance. If it gets clogged then the computer will have problems. Therefore the correct thing to do is replace a clogged or faulty EGR and keep the computer happy. And in case you didn't already know, your computer is setup to directly call:

If you disable your emission's equipment!

Once again your user title fits bonzo I said three times now it'll LOWER my PMG by a little and I don't care.. .and also I do know it's only under certain conditions not WOT. My car is my daily driver tho, so more often than not I'm at part throttle, idling t a light, etc

HPTuners keeps computers happy

as an alternative to actually spending money to fix the EGR, you can rip out the rest of your emissions equipment along with it. then take the check valve that comes with the vapor canister and place it onto the vacuum line that opens the EGR. now the computer thinks it is happily opening the EGR, and you have less useless **** in your engine compartment.
it is a total win win situation

I still think you broke your car taking out something that doesn't bother anything.

For the record, it's 5-10ish pounds, closer to 10 than 5, including the plate it sits on...
