so your assuming that the cop was a gm guy and knew that the 8th digit in the vin of a early 4th gen is how you know what motor goes in the car? and with the amount of cars around here (including v6 cars with exhaust) that are modded im sure it jumped out at him to mess with you about it.

I was heading to work at 5 AM on route 195 I was doing 85 mph in a 65. A trooper pulled next to me in a Durango. I didn't realize he was a trooper at first so he waited for me to slow down. He pulled off to catch up to the guy I was following. After a bit I was back up to 85. Then I see the trooper again he was slowing down fast in front of me. As I pulled next to him he yelled over his PA system "What the F!@# will it take to get you to slow the F down?" At that point I think I soiled myself! He must have been at the end of his shift because he just hit the next exit and got off. I didn't speed for a week after that! lol

haha.. i got the same story. i was clocked 95 over the bridge tho racing some car that "thought" he was fast. the light turned green(the one before you get on the bridge) he took off and i just couldnt let him show me up!! haha so i punch it and flew past him! wwweeeelllllllll i also flew past the cop to and i just **** myself and pulled over. he gave me careless, no front plate, and tint cuz he said if he wrote me the ticket for the speed i was going the judge will take my license. whoopsie!
:edit: i also got pulled over TTWWWWOOOOOOOO more times that night and for one ticket for tint and another one for blackouts even after i told them that i have already been pulled over that night and showed them the tickets.. they didnt care. gatta love going down the shore in the summer with a highly modified (illeagle) car. the price we have to pay.. its a damn shame

lol. Well I will say that yes, we were both idiots for that, but it doesnt need profantiy towards us for the wrongdoing that we did, the tickets wer punishment enough lol. Word of advice for the day, cops are antsy towards the end of the month, keep the speedo in the single digits on the limits.

as long as you are curtious(sp) you shouldn't have a problem with any cop that pulls you over....that is unless you get pulled over for doing something extremely stupid. Cops also don't like it at all when you double the speed limit.
You just have to understand that they are just doing their jobs and if you drive around with a car that isn't all that legal then you shouldn't be upset when you get tickets. I have no problem driving around here in nj with my T/A since I have IL plates on it. I do get stalked for it being loud, but no tickets yet. Now when I drive it home in august I have fully accepted that the cops are/might nail me for exhaust, tint, and no front plate. It just comes with the hobby.

iv got two good ones. first was in my old 3rd gen i pulled out of the deptford mall and did a doughnut it was suppose to just be a little slide but it was raining and it keep going, but it just went around and straightened out and i started going and the car right behind i see lights come on. i pull over and i was 17 and had 4 ppl in the car. i pull over and the cop walks up and i immediately say sorry officer its wet it must have gotten away from me. and he say "sure it did, license and registration" he walks back to his car and comes back and says "stop being stupid" and let me go. the second one i was driving home from the wild wood car show last year at 2 in the morning when this car starts riding my ass and i see my radar keep jumping up to 5 then going off then back up to 5. so i set my cruise to 45 and let it go because i know its a cop, by now i know he has no reason to pull me over when all of a sudden his lights come on, i get soo pissed because i did nothing wrong. i pull over and he says do you know why i pulled you over? i say No. he says you throw a cigarette out the window, then i fliped on him because i dont smoke. and he say do you have any points i say no and he says well see about that licence and registation. then like 20 mins later he comes back and says have a good day sir and next time you get pulled over pull farther off the road. he was such a dick, makes me hate cops.

LOL, Ive only ben pulled over once, but ill tell you what, nothing says I wanna do that more then wanting to elude the police, and im sure everyone gets those feelings to something crazy. now eludings one thing, but getting aways another lol. I wish I could of done that that day but one, last time I checked, our v6's arent exactly speeding material, and two, I wouldnt have big enough Gahonas to do that, even if i had elephantitus on them. But there was that one video in the media section of those kids trying to get away, took em forever, but they did.
