spot on, spot on. So true. Just coincidental that I stopped watching nascar the year Earnhardt Sr. died.

The paint job on that car was really cool. I had a model of it when I was a kid and always wanted to buy a car and paint it like that lol

I always thought the same thing. I remember when Ricky Rudd did this insanely long race at Watkins Glenn, one of those tracks where there are turns and hair pins and I am not sure if it was that he didn't make a pit stop for a long time or something, but I remember he won that race years ago and I think he almost died from dehydration or heat exhaustion in the process.
Good memories. When I just visited nascar.com, I only recognize a hand full of the guys now. I am surprised to see such a mix of drivers in terms of ethnicity and nationality.
Happy to see that Jeff Burton is number 3 in the points standing. Who's number 1 though?

stock cars have a double meaning. originally stock cars were built to travel cross the bible belt with loads of illegal alcohol. they were light small cars that were heavily modified to outrun the law enforcement. everything was was pretty much modified except for the rolling 'stock'.
stock cars have nothing to do with the level of mods but to do with the fact that theyre modified production cars. well not anymore, but they used to be

Well the name come from the roots of nascar...Bootleggers transporting whiskey stock in hopped up cars...I don't know where the whole equal advantage thing came from

It really didn't affect Toyota if they took away 10-15 HP, since BUSCH won the race Sat. nite again anyway.
