Al will tell you, if you work on cars for awhile you see that every so often.

2-piece rotors, the brake pistions came out of the caliper, and the master had a small puddle still.
He left after we replaced 4 rotors, calipers, pads, new fluid, master and booster as well as 2 hoses in the front. He also got a battery and an alt.
About a week later, his daughter came back yelling at us. We even showed her pictures that we took just cause we thought it was funny. She said she didnt care, that we forced him into buying it and that we ripped him off.
I woulda told that bitch to f**k off

damn that blows. i hate people who don't understand ****'s ****ed up and needs to be replaced, NOW! and having the owner's approval is more than enough, you could have gone to small claims court i bet. ****in people.

i did have a similar situation, first time seeing another jeep grand cherokee. chick tells me the car pulls left when she hits the brakes. i check it out and the passenger rotor is in two pieces. it wasn't worn like these, just snapped like them. her father was being so cheap, i'm thinking, dude, this is your daughter's life. she hasn't had a license for 6 months, and you are going to half ass this thing back on the road???? gawd dayum!!

I know a lot of people wait until there's a "real" problem before they have their vehicles serviced. My father-in-law said to me one day, "You know, my brakes feel a little funny, like they push the pedal back when you step down on them." So he brought his truck by my house one day and I pulled the wheel off. The pads were worn down to the metal, and when I pulled the caliper off, they came out in three pieces. At least the rotor was still together though!

Man, that's the first time I've seen a rotor look that bad - that's insane! I can't believe the guy still drove like that, there must have been some serious "thumpthumpthumpthumpthump" every time he drove it. Plus, most of the braking is done with the front wheels, so how did he even stop that thing without plowing into someone!????

What really bothers me is that this is the same JO that will tailgate you at 75 mph and GOD help you if you have to brake REALLY hard to avoid something and this AHOLE can't stop and takes out your life because they are too cheap to look into the problem!
