If I had the money, which I do not lol, I’d rather pay $125k for a killer pro-touring built 1st gen I can drive the wheels off of over a $125k nut & bolt restore I’m afraid to push into the daylight. But that is just me. Oh and that is the $$ trend too, judging by cars I’ve seen sold in the past 6-12 months. Tasteful, bad ass, high quality pro-touring 1st gens are going up daily as some people like to buy top shelf drivers. But that is another topic.

Another example, it looks like Steve sold his Monte SS in the $9000 range. But I got told no way, that can’t happen. But WTF do I know?

Just in the past few years are we really just seeing the 2nd gens coming out of the woodwork now. Especially the 74-81s. That is part of the cycle. 3rd gens are very slowly coming out too. I suspect it will be a few years before the increase begins to be noticeable.

Well not in salt! lol And it's not a $125k car!

actually if you remember I came late straight from my kids baseball practice. that lot was all water and snow, no way my car was going there. Unlike your 4th gen, my car is an appreciating asset. I'd like to keep it that way.

and it has not lost a drop of trans fluid this winter.
