damn...that even beats the lingenfelter vette which only runs a 10.8...that is sick with a somewhat street trim...thats got to have well over 625 hp/600 ft lbs...but i think the no tuning part is bs...no way in hell it can run like like without proper tuning...but amazing none the less...

Thats the sledgehammer correct?
I still wanna know how anything can have that much power, yet the traction to run a 1.7 0-60. Same thing with the Hayabussas 2.8 0-60

Well, since there seem to be some unanswered questions, I figure I'd join the forum and provide the answers. I'm the owner/driver of this Z06.
The car is a twin turbo 346 cid Z06. The motor and turbo kit were built by Cartek. The car put down over 1000 rwhp. It's a nice dyno number but it was totally useless. We detuned the car. I was breaking on average every 7 runs because I couldn't keep the trans together. We ran a best of 9.87 @ 145 mph last year with irs and 6 speed.
I decided to end the nonsense and put in an auto trans and solid rear. Neverlift Racecraft built the suspension and tranny conversion and put the power to the ground. This was the first time we had the car to the track. These passes were made on minimal boost (about 14 lbs) so that about 800+ rwhp.
It's no bs about the tuning. We didn't bother retuning the car for an auto trans because we're changing the computer and it would've been a waste of time and money. We're tuning the car on Monday and taking it to Atco for a private test session on Tuesday. We'll have her running 8s on Tuesday.
The car has retained full interior and hasn't been tubbed. We're putting cones on the exhaust so the car is going to be a lot quieter than in that video. Plus the turbos quiet the car down even more. You'll just hear the turbos spooling up
Here's a couple more videos. One of my car in the staging lanes and another one of Neverlift's other customer (turbo S10). Enjoy.

Awesome car but I'm even more impressed with that s10! 7's with what sounded like a great idle. The geek in me wants to know everything about your setup from turbo to internals and injectors to pcm... mind sharing that info?

The car was tuned for race gas. We can decrease boost and tune for 94 octane. With the new engine management system we can very easily load different tune programs on the fly.
If you want to know more about the car, please visit my web site www.learntodragerace.com, click on our race cars, then on Z06. There are pics, description of the setup, and the story behind this project.

No, this was at a private rental during the day.
The new computer and tune will get us into 8s no matter what the weather. We can't run more boost until those updates are done. We're running 14-16 lbs still. Car will be tuned for 20-22 lbs.
