BTW, the driver's also a tard. First off, nitrous does NOT burn by itself. What appears to have happened is a backfire that blow off the intake manifold causing the fuel rails to leak fuel all over the motor at 50+psi AND if the guy didn't turn off the ignition the solinoids to the nitrous AND fuel solinoids could have been left on spraying more fuel all over the engine. Easiest way to have prevented such a large fire is to shut everything off before running gayishly far away. 2nd thing to note, the pathetic track for not having an extinguisher at the starting line. If I were the vette owner I wouldn't have run away but instead, turn off the ignition and scream my lungs out for an extinguisher...
Which proves a theory of mine, that all new vette owners aren't real car guys.

I Agree, if you notice after they put about 4 extinguishers into the car they opened the door and reached in to shut it off i think, or at least to see if it was stil on.
There was also one guy standing there with a extinguisher watching it burn
