Time for me to be like Jersey TA (kill story)

First of all, let me describe the driver. High school dropout, wigger beyond belief, has seemingly no future. Not a very smart kid at all, and hes a huge ricer.

The car. A mid 90's civic CX hatchback. the CX i believe has the 1.5L with like 90hp. Its a manual transmission, has altezzas, a fart can, and some chrome hubcaps.

The race. We were both at the local applebees, and he happened to be leaving a little after i went out the door, so i waited up. He got in his car and fiddled around with some stuff for a while, i was sitting a few spots over waiting for him to leave so i could give chase. With the cutout open, I throw a little 2.5k rev just to get his attention. He looks over, and proceeds to back out of his parking space.

We both pull out to the light to get onto the highway, he's revving a little bit, im sitting at idle just waiting. i drop the shifter down into first, turn off the traction control...light goes green, we slowly make the turn onto the highway, and both get on it at about the same time, around 20mph. By the time i was out of first gear (40mph), i had put two cars on him, and by the time i hit 70 and let off, i was 6-7 cars ahead.

The highway goes down to one lane for a while because they are doing night paving, so im just cruising normally, while hes behind me itching to pass me once it goes back to 3 lanes. We get to the end of the paving, the lanes open up, he cuts over, i drop the shifter into 2nd and go about half throttle at about 60. he comes up next to me, and just as he is in his moment of glory of passing me, i slam the gas to the floor and proceed to put 4-5 lengths on him by 90mph. i slowed down to 65 or so again, and he wouldnt come up next to me again...mustve been embarassed.

Now, for the TT stealth.

Dont know the driver or anything, but there were 4 people in the car. Again, i had the cutout open, so i got his attention pretty quick...same highway again, but northbound side, so no traffic and no paving. we both get on it at the same time at the bottom of a long, straight hill, i put about a car on him by the top of the hill at around 100mph. I slow down, he catches back up, we pace each other for a while, and finally get another straight stretch of road, flat this time...this is where it gets ugly. I have the shifter in 2nd, he is probably in 2nd or 3rd, at around 55mph...we both punch it, he put 1-2 carlengths on me by 90mph, where we both let off. I caught back up to him, we exchanged thumbs up and went on our seperate ways.

Cliff notes: Destroyed a Civic CX, hung with a TT stealth with a bunch of passengers.

Congrats. I hear ya on the CX's. Theres an immigrant around here with one, and he has yellow electrical tape (no lie) with red pinstriping in the form on his back bumper saying "CIVIC CX". Good kill.

FUN FACT: Debadging an import adds 3 horsepower and decreases your 0-60 time in .007 seconds!

That was like my friend with his del sol.....now i know i don't have the fastest car but it does its job for a 305 4bbl. The kid i bought my camaro off of after he put it under a jeep went out and bought himself a 93 Honda Del Sol, 5sp, 3 inch poop shoot, and a clear intake (that has holes in it after the filter) anyways....we were b/s ing one night and he swore his car would take mine...swore by it saying that its one of the fastest cars hes owned ( mind you this same kid thought that about his century wagon was too...which was probably fasted then the honda.and traded his 5.0 mustang and $500 for the Del Sol) So he pissed me off so we hit up summit road for a quick race up the hill....he wanted it he got it...the road starts out as a one lane road but once you cross 78 and out of summit it turns into 2 lanes from there you boot it up the hill and see whats good..... The road split and we went at it and he just didn't have it.... My speedo only goes up to 85 and the needle was past 85 so i don't know what i was doing after that...the only thing that sucks about it....you gotta jam on the brakes at the top because theres a light and its usually red. He finally told me that he sould have never said anything.....that one day my car made me feel good.....but everyday since i just know its a headache.....i guess thats what they're for....
