the day at work from hell

hey guys,

Just needed a venue to vent at a bit. So yeah... hmmm. yesterday at work was the pits. Basically, I started working at a GM Dealership a month ago, its a great job, learning tons of new things. Last week my boss goes "Kevo, you're going to drive every car we have on the lot." Now, I'm on the shorter side, I'll admit, so I cant see out of some cars that are higher up on the ground. Yesterday, I took out the Cobalt, Grand Prix, and Lacrosse to drive em around. Needless to say, the Lacrosse is this HUGE car, which I ended up lightly bumping into another Lacrose. Not much damage to either vehicle, but damn was it embarrassing. I'm also pretty sure that its covered under their insurance, but damn.

Then, mistake number two. I didn't realize that sometimes the bosses here dont tell the owner everything. So I went up to the owner, figured I'd be honest about it and let him know, and my bosses got PISSED. Oh well, I learned quite a few lessons yesterday. 1) ALWAYS drive new cars like ur walking on FRIGGIN eggshells 2) Don't tell the boss above your boss stuff that happens 3) If you're not sure, dont do it *my boss's advice*

Anyway, hopefully its all good. It's a thing of the past, this is a great dealership to work for. Being Internet Sales Manager is fun, but yeah... yesterday was not my favorite day in the world. And get this, I checked my calendar and it was a FULL MOON yesterday. Coincidence??? I think not. lol... later guys... just had to vent

One of the biggest things you have to learn in "the real world" is chain of command. Always go up the ladder, never start at the top. Sometimes, the owner doesn't really want to know about some things that go on.
