motor status update

gave frank bash $4,000 down on my motor, he should have all the parts this thursday or friday and then roughly a week to put it all together and get it done. he ran in to a problem with the heads though. i wanted a set of brodix race rite 200 cnc machine heads. according to brodix these heads are on a 6 week back order, alogn with the fact that my custom pistons were cut for a 2.02 valve and the brodix's have 2.055's frank said they may not clear the pistons that i have. his rep at brodix has a set fo 180 race rite heads that have had all cnc work done to them (even the combustion chambers) that im getting for a deal. frank says ill lose a few hp on the top end (roughly 10-12) but he says my bottom end will be alot better since the intake runner air velocity will be higher. so i went with that for a decision. let me know what ya think

Well, if his estimations are correct, I don't think losing 10-12 hp on the top end will hurt much, as long as you are pulling harder down low.

we shall see, he said it will be more responsive driving around town and all which will be a plus messing around with people on the streets. ill most likely be showing it at the nats since it wont be fully broken in
