I have a dream.....

I have a dream that one day i will have a black iroc-z.
I have a dream that one day i will strip that iroc-z out and turn it into an iroc-z06.

I saw ls6 crate motors on http://www.http://www.fbodymotorspor...&pid=10331.com

im curious about just how impossible or possible it would be to turn a 3rd gen camaro into a z06. Including engine, suspension, and drivetrain.
I think that would be one wicked custom....keep it simple looking too....got to love sleepers.

irs would be a bitch.......you could probably do just as well with aftermarket f-body suspension without having to create a ton of fab work......and i think the brake vents would look godawful on a f-body...

everything else go for

The engine and tranny would swap right in - lots of places make third gen LSx swap parts now. Suspension would be a PITA, and you could make that thirdgen handle as well as a 'vette with aftermarket suspension.

Ask GM, they did it in 1995 with the "Corvette test mule". An LT1 Z28 with an LS1 and Vette Drivetrain.

I remember awhile back I saw a tech article that someone had installed a corvette IRS into their camaro, but it took alot of custom fabrication. But the initial LSx and 6-speed swap would be a simple switch.
