just poppin in to say hi.

yo guys whats up. i came home for a few hours today, havent seen pops for a few weeks and felt bad.

living on my own is awesome except when rent day comes around...

so far at school we've done basic engines and now i'm learning basic electronics...pretty cool **** and I've learned a lot.

only had a couple seriously disheartening moment since ive been in PA...looks as though someone threaded a sheet metal screw into one of my tires at who knows when...right at a 45 degree angle where the sidewall meets the tread. same tire that got f-ed up on graduation night...not to mention how i somehow lost my key for my locking lugs...so i ended up forkin out some cash for 2 new rear tires...the one good rear tire i'll have as a spare.

the other mishap happened 2 or 3 nights ago...some kid in a 94-98 stang gt was in front of me being stupid...chirping gears and what not. we got stuck at a light, me behind him, him being first in line with a row of cars next to us. for the good 2 or 3 minutes we were at the light (PA lights are f-ing retarded), he sat there and revved his engine up. my temper finally caught up with me and i threw it in first...when the light when green he hit it, and i accelerated just enough to move into the right lane in front of the other vehicles...by this time he was ahead of me...so when i hit third (i was only doing about 60 at that point) i hit it and began pulling him in. by 100 i had 2-3 cars on him...however, in the midst of this brain fart, i looked in my rear view a second after i looked at my speedo, and i was in his lane. i went to move back over, turned just a tad too hard, and my car basically threw up 2 middle fingers and started to dance. it kicked 90 degrees one way, i tried to correct, it went 90 degrees the other way, then pulled a full 540 to the right...now i was facing traffic going the wrong way...the whole car was going backwards and it ended up pulling a 180 to the left, when i finally got it to stop. it stalled...i happened to be on the shoulder close to an on ramp...got lucky as all hell. i started the car, took off back down this road scared out of my mind, and caught up with the kid in the stang on the highway...we ended up pulling into a convenience store parking lot and talking for a few minutes...he first asked "what do ya got in that thing?!" and then we said "holy ****" for a few minutes...then i found out that "sparks shot out from under the car just as i started to spin." dont know what sparked...but somehting did...im under the impression it was either my exhaust or my relocation brackets. suprisingly, after checking the car out...it was fine and drove better than before.

sorry for ranting...just thought that story was worth telling..i learned a valuable lesson and im not gonna let a car get me pissed on the street again...too much was at stake...something was looking out for me, because whatever way you look at it, my car should have been trashed...i was 6 inches from a guard rail the entire time i was spinning...

i threw some K&Ns in the car after that whole ordeal (i had bought them that day)...theyre worth it, more throttle response, and better gas mileage.

alright guys talk to you all later on.

Wow, sounds like you had some fun.
I've done a 720 but that was on purpose. Coming off a highway onto a 6 lane road that ended a 1/4 mile down the road (into a 2 lane). It was wet, the e-brake was right there in my hand so I just pulled it doing 50 (in a straight line). The 1st 360 wasn't so bad, the 2nd was a littly hairy because it was violent.
As for the stalling, what do you mean? Did it stall RIGHT after you stopped spinning, during, after, a minute after? How much gas did you have in the tank?
Anyways, have fun as school.

Jon, I had about half a tank in there...i honestly think it stalled after the spinning but i honestly dont know. I must admit I can say it was fun because I walked away from it...and i beat another stang.

im on my friends computer thats the only reason im replying. at some point in the fall ill be taking off from work on a tuesday for atco...you all know how that goes. i hope to see a lot of you there.

oh and sorry about not making it out to nats/august meeting...i got caught up in an odd night just before nats and couldnt find directions from my place as it was...and i just flat out was too busy to make the august meeting.

take it easy guys.
