Hey everyone i just bought a vortec 350 and i am rebuilding it. So i am looking for an engine stand and a hoist. Also if anyone has parts that are in very good shape that i could use in rebuilding this motor especially performance parts let me know. I will be running a carburator on this motor so if anyone can help let me know. I am also looking to have the block bored and the heads ported and polished if anyone could help with that let me know. a port an polish doesnt yield a hell of a lot on vortecs, but its not worthless either. I'd suggest getting the spring pockets cut down so you can run a bigger cam. What's your budget for this thing and what do you want out of it? is this gonna be a track car or a nice cruising car? a few more details and we'll steer you down the right path

i have a set of 8 TRW forged pistons for a 4.000" (stock 350) bore. They are brand new. Ill sell then for $225 for the set.

I also have a like new engine stand that i can sell you for $45.

Ian i am looking to make the car a nice cruiser with some pep not looking to spend thousands on it just want to make it run pretty quick at the strip but mainly just a cruiser.

i might be interested in the pistons to i would like to look at them if possible when ever i come to pick up the stand anyway i call you dad hopefully tomarow (sunday). thanks rico

yeah the pistons have been sititng for a little bit so the price is flexible somewhat... but they ARE brand new so feel free to make an offer and ill let you know i need them gone and i need the money for a gear installation
