Another Rutgers thread.... I f-in HATE BUSSES!
OK, so I just spent a half hr waiting for the F bus at the Mason Gross building, then decided after I saw two EE busses go by Rockoff Hall to walk over there and catch the next one. Then proceeded to wait another 20 mins for the next EE, but saw two going the opposite way. ARG!
Yeah, I'm just ranting cause I'm tired and didnt feel like walking a block and a half to the next stop. blah.

yeah tell me about it, im getting tired of it and its only a few weeks into school. Im def glad i dont have any classes on douglass/cook. From livingston id have to take the bus to Col. Ave then from there to D/C. they say its "faster" but my buddy says it takes him an hour to get there for what used to take 30 mins at the most. This place gets more screwey at time goes on.

how true. i lucked out this year. 4 of 5 of my classes are on college ave, and the other is on busch. last year, i had to ride over to douglass every night. i always got out of class at night, so there were less busses running and i'd wind up waiting 20-30 minutes to ride a bus with a billion other people.

60 minutes to get from livingston to douglass
80 minutes of class
90 minutes to get back to livingston.
all this in the rain. its getting to the point where its not worth going to class. i can think of so many better things to do with my 3 hours.
are all your classes on mason gross? cause that would suck!

All but one. I have a night class in Hickman on douglass. I'm at mason gross roughly 6 hours a day. (about 2 3-hour classes per day, cept fridays)

I just got out of hickman, I'm over there Thursdays from 720-10. Usually get out around 930. Its for an art history class. Sounds boring, but its really not too bad.

Since this thread is sitll going on... I had the WORST bus driver today. It was like she was oblivious to the fact that the bus was full and people were standing. Brakes every 10 seconds. Either that or she was having fun with us, but i think she fell into that 'woman driver' category (that i dont fall into.......) She was HORRIBLE. She ran over something pulling into the one douglass stop, it coulda been a student for all i knew. All i knew was that I waited 20 mins for her to show up at Mason Gross and it took me over 1/2 hr to get to the douglass student center to get some food before class. I have an hour and a half between classes. It should NOT take that entire time to catch a bus, get some food and get to class from Downtown to Cook/Douglass!
/rant for this week.

livingston special is a direct route from livingston to douglass. its supposed to be very quick and since all the other buses still run you can actually get a seat. rutgers is finally making some improvements. i still havent taken it though. its so much more convenient to just not go to class and get crappy grades
