Well it really isnt about stealing its about getting my name out. Â*What I hope benefits from this is people will see the pictures I have taken on forums lets say and they will say, "hey those are some pretty nice pictures, maybe I should track him down and get some done of my car!"
That way my name can spread and I could get a good reputation. Â*And lets say I were to take pictures of your car you can refer friends that may be interested. Â*And also so some sneaky person doesnt try to go and say they took the pictures themselves. Â*I want credit.

(it would be somewhere you couldnt crop out without ruining the picture and it would be subtle enough that you wouldnt take away from the whole.)

Either way is fine with me , Right now its just a hobby, and a time killer especially to get outside on nice days! Eventually I think im going to set up my own website gallery so you can see all my work in one place! And also whenever I get motivated Im going to go to my old job at Motophoto and get my favorite pictures printed and make a portfolio.

just put a water mark on them...you can still see all the picture w/o words covering it up but you can also see the mark too

You should just do what most if not some photographers do to their pics... a diagnal writing with about 20% opacity that stretches to both corners saying your name. I cant think of who does this, but ive seen it alot. It doesnt ruin the picture that much, but itll definately get your name out. Plus, its alot cleaner.

Wish I had your problem. Not enough hours in the day.
Good luck with it. So far your work looks great. Anyone can duplicate the equipment, but few have the creative eye to get the best lines.

yeah man you do real nice work. I dont think you would have any problems making a few extra bucks taking some pics. My Dad used to do it in High School and College to make some money, and he is extremely talented at it. What I like about your work is that you are keen on surroundings and know the best angles to work with. My Dad does alot of nature pics, we have them around the house and a few at his office. If you want i could show you some of his work with cars that he has done if you want any more ideas. I have been taking some pics but dont have a digital camera. I do some black and white work on my own, but its hard since i no longer have a darkroom at school (I did when I went to Mercer County College) Good luck and let me know if you want some of his works to give you more ideas.

well you have to put more than your name or no one that doesnt know you will get in touch with you. ive seen plenty of pics with an email address at the bottom. id think that would work a lot better for getting outside referrals. otherwise its like, "nice pics but i have no way to get a hold of him."

I would agree an email address would help. But if he had them on a specific site like he mentioned then it wouldnt matter. He could just have it on the site.
