A Husky Two-stage V-twin 80 gallon air compressor!!!!
Lemme start by saying that i work for a sign company in a machine shop, and theres one room with a CNC cad machine. For those who that dont know, its a big table that you lay sheets of aluminum or plastic on and it cuts out letters, shapes, anything out that you program into it.
So anyways, when doing so theres a lot of metal debrit that will float around inside that room. The air compressor powering was the compressor listed above. "Supposedly" some metal "floated" inside the motor into the brushes, so they purchased a 4-cylinder one. (I think they should have gotten a screw-type like the paint department has got here but its not my call)
So, I asked my boss what did he wanted me do with it. He replied "I don't care what you do with it. Throw it away, take it home, just get it out of here."
So, I took it home like he politely asked me to...
Now i need to see if the motor works, but I don't have 220 line going to my garage yet. Worst case if it doesnt I'll contact the manufacturer and get a new one, or a local electric supply place would be able to repair it or sell me a new one. But for the price of free, cant beat a $800.00 compressor.
Fugger is heavy too. I didnt notice till i tried to get it off my truck since I forklifted it on at work. haha
