"New" hood finally! (56k may want to give it some

A friend of mine from another board (well he's FormulaLT1 here but doesn't really post) found this guy giving away a red '96 hood on fbody.com, guy's GF hit a telephone pole but the damage is minor (right above pas. side headlight). And the paint matches my car perfectly, the nose though (off a 93) is faded/darkned sooooooo much.

oh, and that gap is because the bumper cover sorta sags / I need to get off my lazy ass and adjust and tighten it

I know, no one would believe me that the hood would fit in my trunk but it fit in there nicely and didn't even wiggle around when I stomped on it a few times (the gas peddle that is).

that's my "super duper top secret mod that will be done some day!" (some v6 guys may get this)

At Island for the nats, at tech inspection we deemed it necessary to use duct tape to make double sure my hood woudln't fly up... lol
