My drivers side 1/4 is all banged up, partially from previous owner(s) and partially from the parking lot back in HS... I am debating if it'd be cheaper to get a whole fresh 1/4 from Jon and Jake and get that welded on, or to have allllll the dents pulled/banged/fixed.
Alex goes "why do all that, just bondo it, I have a fresh bucket here"

I vote for banging it out as straight as you can, then getting down with the bondo. Bondo has a really bad rep because most of the people who use it dont know how to prep the surface so it literally falls off the car. if you do it right, you wont beable to tell its there. granted, if you get smacked there again, it will crack and look nasty, but I'd rather mess up a bondo job than a brand new quarter.
Its really up to you. you're gonna spens a lot mor for the new quarter to be installed and even then they are going to use body filler. Since your car isn't anything special (no offense, but its not a firehawk or an SS or anything like that) I'd hammer it out, fill it up and sand it down.
