lookin for a new car
Im looking for an lt1-ls1 trans am ws6. I want a 6spd t-top and it doesnt matter what color it is. I ould like a stock/ almost stock car and to have 70k miles or under. Let me know if you guys find anything.

it would have to be an ss to be comparable to ws6, although better suspension is available for almost the same price as you will save by buying the standard ta

i tihink if you're gonna rip through the car anyway, just get a z28 or trans am. than you can mod the hell out of it with the extra cashed you saved

LT1's started in 93, i dont think the ws6 started until 96 iirc

WS6 was originally a performance handling package. it was available, as far as I know, on all of the 4th gen firebirds. it wasn't until '96 and later that they threw in a ram-air package on top of that.
a Z28 has the same performance handling package as the WS6.
the equivalent of a Camaro SS would be a Firehawk.

I have heard before that WS6, just like RS, was reinstated in 96.

WS6 = 32 mm front sway bar and 19 mm rear sway bar
Z28 = 30 mm front sway bar and 19 mm rear sway bar
unless of course the 1LE is thrown in there than I think the sway bars are the same and the WS6.
not sure if anything else is different about the suspension.
