Wow, took the air filter out of the SS!

Since it's a miserable day I figured might as well start on some simple maintenance items on the SS to get ready to go through inspection. I pulled the air filte(Holley Powershot filter) and it was almost half clogged! I think there were some potato's growing in it. So I knocked all the junk out(lots of stuff comes through that SS hood opening) and washed it out. Next, clean the throttle body. That was all carboned up. I can't imagine what the spark plugs are going to look like!

thats no good. you said it ran good already, it will prolly feel a ton better once you get a fresh tune up on it.
you mentioned painting the wheels white in the other thread. are you planning to leave teh lip polished and just paint the face or paint all the way out to the lip?

I was thinking of matching the 30th anniv SS look with the white ZR1's and I think the lip stays unpainted. I need to look for a shop that can blast the wheels and then powder coat them. Any ideas in our area that can do the blasting and powder coating?
