got pulled over last night...
Not in my car.. but I wanted to say thanks for all of the "what to do if pulled over threads"
Cop clocked us at 80 in a 55. I told the driver to throw on ALL the dome lights in the car, put his hands in the wheel and not to move or retrieve anything until instructed to. I also informed him to absolutely do not admit guilt to anything.
After some talking, the officer came back with an "unclear liscence plate cover" ticket. So 54 dollars no points (obviously)
Probably has to have been my best experience in my life of a cop so far.

Number one thing to do at night. Lights in car on, and hands where they are visible.
Also, it doesnt hurt to turn the car off.
Best experience I had:
Was comming home on 287, was moving pretty good. it was like 2 am so there were not too many cars. Next thing I see are red and blue lights way back. Knowing it was on me I looked down and saw that I was doing 110...In a 55. I pull over and turn the car off, put interior lights on and hands on wheel.
He walks up, asks if its a real Iroc-Z we ******** for a bit. Takes my information. Comes back and says So you are taking law enforcement. I look over and see that my college books are on the seat. I tell him yes. He tells me to turn around. He says "You see that car back there? Thats not a camaro, its not a mustang its a crown vic. I had to do 130 to catch up to you. Just slow it down" No ticket or anything.
I was in the right lane doing the speed limit the whole way home.

I have a few good cop stories, best one was when I got pulled over after doing a burnout in the diner parking lot. Not 1 mile up the road from there I was already pulled over.
Cop: was that you lighting them up at the traffic light back there?
Me: No sir, not at the traffic light
Cop: well then who was it?
Me: That was me in the diner parking lot.
Cop: well, I can appreciate your honesty, that may affect how this turns out.
After some bull****ting about the car, him asking me if it was mine, yada yada yada, he tells me he can understand it, but cant condone it, let me go free with no coupons.
I called up my friend, told him he was an ******* cause he had asked me to do the burnout, and it turned out the cop went to school with him and they used to do stupid **** in the high school parking lot. Guess thats why he could 'understand' it.
