It's ALIVE!!!
after the last week of back & forth with the camaro I finally fired it up today and boy does it sound wicked with the open cutout The used starter i sent for unfortunatly didnt work out...apparently there was a VERY slight wiring change from the pre 97 stuff to the post 97 stuff and thats why it wouldnt bolt up without some hacking so i just splurged on a rebuilt starter with a LLT. Idled like crap at first and iddnt really wanna hold and idle at all but i noticed the fuel was less then E so went and got a few gallons of super & tried again...same crap...then I remembered the evap line wasnt connected on the TB so i geririgged a connection up using some old fuel line i had and bang idled rock steady at 900ish rpms. Has a bunch of the auto codes & stuff but nothing serious. Very happy Im gonna get some vaccum line in a few mins to get it permenantly setup...then all i need is the catback from eric & im set...at that point and only then will i know how the tranny really is. That will be for a nother thread though hehe.

Cool, glad to hear that you got it running.
I guess the IAT from the truck fit fine then?
