Sorry, wish I could.

Lets just say..... he got OWNED! Never lie..... and allow customer to call headquarters while still at dealer..... and customer advise salesperson that they are calling corp.... and sales person still lies.

I called him at dealer.... and conferenced customer in w/ salesman

it's all a game to them and if they win they get your money. they are practiced at the art of deception, 365 days a year. no matter how informed a customer is, there is always someone in the dealership that knows how to get around that and get the money. the people well versed in thievery typically become closers and then managers, either on the car side or in the F&I side. the biggest thief of all has the largest desk.

oh, and if they ever call you back in to resign because your payment was lowered, that means they got too much of your money and the bank called them on it.

best salesman is the one who cares bout the customer more then money. my boss's son vinny(23) works in a chevy dealership as a salesmen(made #1 seller past 4/5 months) been there for a while well this older gentleman came in bout feb and wanted a fullsize 3500 dually to haul his race car to the track and back and be a daily driver. well my boss son vinny talked him into a 2500 ext cab short box with the duramax and gave the customer 1000$ cashback right off the top if he took the truck. we he called vinny durring the 3$ a gallon gas season and thanked him cuz if he had gone with what he wanted, he would of had spent over 1500 more in gas then with the diesel 2500.

saturn dealership had good customer service, everyone was polite and courteous and all that ****. its a shame they were all not too bright. my salesman didnt know anything about the car, but i did so i told him to shut the hell up and i told him what to do. the whole no haggle pricing takes all the fun out of car buying.

Many people like the no haggle car buying experiance. Saturn even played on it with commercials when there was that guy that wanted to haggle, and the guy goes "nope...its $xxxxxx". While it takes the "fun" out, many people dont like the "fun". This will play a big role in the upcoming Saturns. When Pontiac dealers are tagging 10k ontop of Solstices, and Saturn Sky's are flying off the lot at MSRP, maybe the other division dealers will smarten up.

but you can still negotiate the value of your trade in, so there is still haggling involved (even though they hope you sleep through that part of it). don't get lulled into a false sense of security just because they make everyone pay the same price. that doesn't mean they aren't ripping EVERYone off...

what about us now trade in people? they did offer different kinds of incentives though like different amounts of cash back depending on length of payments and different APRs. so you did have some decision making and stuff like that. saturn still sucks. i got my camaro down from 29,100 to 24,750.
