Thumbs up New Machine Shop Opened !!!!

Me (JR Newman) & My Engine builder have opened a Bigger Machine Shop, Call " Homer Racing Engines ", we can do any type of machining, flow bench (heads), from stock to Wild, we are located in Easton,PA, were looking to get work, and we are very reasonable, and we will work with everyone, i been doing it for 7yrs, my engine builders been doing it for 30yrs. e-mail me, pm's. just asking what you are willing to do just for referal sake...heads, rebuilds, whatever really...just would be nice to know what you guys will be working on since theres not many ls1 machine shops in the area.

this is odd... i was thinking last nite to post up if anyone knew of anyone who did good head work for reference sake. congrads on the shop and i wish you the best of luck.

ps- you should post some contact info and bring cards to the meets and stuff for members like us to distribute

hmm if you get into lt1/ls1/ls2 business good, and set somthing up with bill as your tuner once the motors are done.....lil ole njfboa could be the breeding ground of a sucessfull tuning business.......

yup, that;s what wrong with it. i did a compression test and every other cylinder was in the 150-160ish range, but cylinder 7 was i think 35. pm me if you can work on it

i take it you do porting jobs? If so, about how much are we looking for on a full port job on an LT1 intake? Full job as in fully ported and ready for a 58 mm TB

are the heads ported,if they are, we can match the intake gaskets and fully port the manifold for you, no problem,if heads are not ported we could work something out. give me a day, what yr. manifold or car is it.i'll get back to you., just finished up a full port job on a 4.6 ford w/a supercharger,heads lower intake,and upper intake, should make close to 500hp rwd. can you give me a rough idea of a price to do a .030" bore and install cam bearings on a brand new LQ4 block? it doesnt have to be an exact estimate just an idea, i wont hold you to it.
