The MSD setup for 200 is a good deal. Those parts list new for around $450.
Summit Racing has many good parts at reasonable prices. I would trust summit brand parts way more than the no-name brand parts on ebay. Here are some parts summit has and a range of prices...
water pump--- short $55(part#SUM-311005) or long-$59.95(SUM-311006)
pressure regulator--- $29.95(SUM-G3131)
wires--- large name brand selection $50-up
Holley 650cfm carb--- $327.88 (HLY-0-4777C)
flex fan, flew-a-lite brand or Summit--- $16.88-$29.95 depending on model and size.

Why do you need a water pump for a v8 to v8 swap? Or wires? Or a fan?
I got a flex fan for you $20 shipped.

If hes getting rid of the computer, the electric fans wont work. and if hes going to a v belt setup, the serpentine water pump wont work since its reverse flow. I think the wires may just be an upgrade, unless the MSD distributor has different ends than the stock distributor. Even if its the same, if i did a motor swap, id probably change them too just for the hell of it.

Ok, you can have fans with no computer. Its a switch & a relay, just like GM did. And why swap accessory setups at all? Leave what came in the car or use the whole donor setup. A SBC is a SBC.
Looking at his thread, I'm guessing he is trying to save money here so I am wondering out loud why he needs some of this stuff. And the electric fans are free HP and making them work will cost no more than a fan & shroud will set him back. I did assume his old wires are beat too, but since I see these other things that do not need to go, I thought I'd ask about them too.

i agree with you 100%, i had my carb'd 383 with serpetine belt drive and electric fans. You are actually thinking into his post, lol, i just gave him the answers he wanted. But yes, he can save more by keeping the current accesories and fan.

That is my problem, I think too much late at night.
My 77 will have a serp setup & electric fans by summer.
