need car opinion
hey fellas.....need an opinion, im thinking about purchasing a 69 impala ss396, 2 door, hard top, forrest green. needs some work..... i need another project and want to hear some opinions if yes its a sweet car or dont waste your time kinda ****......thanks !

I'd say go for it, as long as it wont burn a tremendous hole in your pocket for the condition its in. A Forest Green Impala w/a tan leather interior is a sexy ****ing beast. Good luck

its gana cost some but i have the money and the shop, it has medium green interior by the way, turbo 400 trans, and .....eck....a 2:73 rear and oops its not an ss but it can be and yes that is what it look like in that pic, iv i do get it id love to change it over to a muncie 4sp or somethin

is that the schino car you are talking about?
that is a sweet ride. definately grab that ****. if you wanna go manual trans, go 6spd. then you can run enough rear gear to get that big iron movin and still be able to cruise distances easily.

Go for it, but make it a cruser man!! Work up the 396, make it an SS clone, but swap in a 4L60 for a nice OD, put in some 3.73's, classic TT2's, lower it, and just have a pimp ride.
How much work needs to be done?

Matt, I say get it, do some minor engine mods, swap a T56 in, 4.10s, and cruise the hell out of that car....
