my own overhaulin !!
well....the impala thing isnt gana work out in the right ways....so....with that money...the SS is goin on the chopping block this spring/summer. to start off....im gana re-do the paint and some body work even know i just did it 9 months ago. the front end is getting lowered 2 inches with the drop spindles i allready have, and its goin to get treated to a custom real flames paint work, done by me and my boss, a brand new coat of PPG mercedes black (u cant get any blacker than that, just in case u didnt know, all black paint is not the same).and if i can get up some cash for another cowl hood im lookin to get the one with the functional flipper door like the chevelles.the rear is going to get a welded in roll pan and the tailgate handle shaved. another set of new decals and the one for the tailgate that i never put on. the windows are gettin tinted darker than africa, and the rear will be lowered and other 2 inches. and yes the driveline, motor, more custom tuning done and helped out with a 150 shot of wet juice, the trans, 2800 stall converter, and the rear im looking at a powertrax locker right now. yes i want it to be a little more show like, but if you know me....that **** will still hit the 1/4 mile track and be constantly abused by yours truly.

Sounds like a good plan, but I agree with Tim - include some brake upgrades. Please. It's scary.

Yeah, after driving my 68 Camaro with 4 wheel disc brakes, I would get back in my 454SS and go halfway through the first stop sign. But rear discs don't make sense because there's no weight in the back and it will just lock up and skid. The fronts definitely need some help.
