wow thats cool, kinda like jumping back into history driving that thing. i wonder why someone stored it like that. i cant imagine that they wouldve thought it would someday become some huge collectors item. i guess they realized it never did and decided to sell. if he waited this long he shoulda waited another 10-15 years when itll be really hard to find a pristine 3rd gen and then he coulda got a lot more.

The one at the BJ auction sold for $40K but it was a 350 automatic I think.

Damn, that's wierd! I know it's a 1LE (no foglights, manual everything, no AC, etc) but why are there leather seats in that thing??

i didn't even notice that when i first looked at it.
since there is no clear picture of the RPO sheet i am thinkign it may be a 1LE + B4C car. many(about 1/3) of the B4C cars came with the leather seats in them and it isn't uncommon to see the two options together on a car.
