header ?

i have SLP long tubes (my biggest mistake) and there low as ****..is there any way that i could like..heat them up and use a clamp to finda flatten them out a little bit..kinda make then into an ovalish shape? i want to drop my car but with the LT on thats never gunna happen because i only have 3 1/2 - 4 inch ground clearance now..im not really conserned if i loose a little bit of flow
thanks in advanced

i doubt you could gain any ground clearance by ovaling off just a portion of the collector...you'd really need to do a ground up header build...every header on the market will have ground clearance issues worse the the stock system...largly because of the ypipe...even with my pacesetters id scrape the ypipe on many speed bumps.

Yeah the Y-pipe can be a pain, but my QTP's tuck up nicely underneath. I had SLP's and the QTP's only hang down about an inch where the SLP's were like 3.

my pacesetter collectors actually touched the floorboard on the drivers side...i had to crowbar them down slightly just to slip the ypipe over it lol

The new QTP headers have real good clearance, especially when the Y-pipe is done properly.
