Value of my 72?

Anyone wana take a stab at how much my car is worth? Im trying to come up with a number for Hagerty.
For those that dont know..here is some info

Its a 1972 Camaro RS (the green one that is in the header)
My grandfather was the original owner
The engine has been replaced with your standard 350
There is very little rust, and has 117k miles on it. My grandfather had it in Europe for most of its life. Interior is in great shape, the dash is warped a little. I think Im gunna ask on Nastyz28.com as well, just wanted to see what you guys say.

It depends.....Is it an auto or manual...it's not the original motor and it is high mileage.....but if the body is relatively straight and the frame is ok somewhere around 9k mabye 10k. Go to your local Barnes&Noble or Borders and look in the different autotrader and "cars for sale" mags. to get an idea what others are selling for. Before you sell it check under the rear seats to make sure the build sheet isn't there. If it is look through it to make sure you don't have any "rare" options.

if you are getting an agreed value policy i woudl suggest getting a proper appraisal and then adding at least $5k to create the insured value.

I would do the same. Off of the top of my head I'd say you should insure it for $15k or so. It will probably only be a few more $ a year than the actual value, which is probably more like 10k.
