Dyno tunes are over-rated.

No, Bill prefers street and track tuning over dyno tuning. A dyno sheet doesn't mean anything if your car is still slow at the track, or has issues with streetability because the tuner never actually drove your car besides to put it on the dyno.

Besides, you can get your install finished up, get Bill to tune it, and pay for a spot at our upcoming Dyno Day at TTP, and still most likely save money over what a normal shop will charge you for a dyno tune.

"real world tune"
part of the reason bill got into tuning was a bad experience after his heads/cam install. his car made decent numbers on the dyno but didnt run very well at the track or on the street from what i hear.

as soon as my trailblazer is delivered he will be tuning BOTH of my vehicles im that confident in the work hes done on the trans am and on other members vehicles.

Unfortunatly Im booked for full tunes until April 1st since I only do full tuning on weekends now. But I will strongly recommend you at least get a base tune in the car...i think those svo injectors are actually rated for like 38lb in ls1's meaning if the stock injector tables are in there the o2's/maf are going to have a hard time compensating for that large of a change without your base injector flow rate tables setup correctly...not to mention then size of your cam which in itself will require at least a minimal amount of tuning more then likely. If theres anything I can do for you let me know & I'll see what we can try to work out.

Thanks
Bill

Sorry to hear man. I don't know enough about your setup of LSx motors to make a suggestion, but I hope whatever you choose to do works out for the best.

Looking good! It must have been a pain in the ass though, with the way the engine is set so damn far back. I know some places will just lift the car off the engine.
