quicktime to avi or windows media
anyone know of free software for converting quicktime movies to avi,mpeg, or windows media formats,my dam camera saves video clips as quicktime movies, and adobe premire wont let me work with this video format

when you open the folder they are in, right click on the video and go to proporties. you can change the program the video opens with from there.

i know that.My video editing software will not read quicktime format,thats why i need software to convert from quicktime to another format i.e avi,mpeg,or windows media

bah none of that stuff is what i need, i ques sill just pay for quicktime pro, so i can export the movies into a diff format

I an QUITE sure that windows movie maker will do it, and it should be embedded with your OS if you're using XP.
