Odd trouble code question

I had my 4.10's installed not to long ago, and they came witha notice saying 500 mile break in period with lite to normal driving. So basially my car hasnt seen above 3k in a few weeks, and recently i've been having to make 40 mile commutes for the alst few days, top speed is onyl around 55 so far, average about 40mph for the 1 way hour treck. First few days went fine... but this morning on my way down my check engine lite popped on about 5 minutes into the trip. everything was running fine it seemed, no noises, hesitations etc... but i dont have my scanner at hand. now on the way home tonight on the same trip, i pulled out onto the highway and some ******* switch left to right lanes and was comming up quick, so i floored and and DAMN my neck almost snapped butttt..... the minute i floored it, the check light went out, and it hasnt come back.

whats the deal? i know the 410's have nothing to do with the code, but why would it suddenly appear, and then dissapear how it did? i ran the obd2 when i got home, but there was no active OR history codes thrown??

the ls1's are picking when being babied, running it soft for the period of tiem probably got a sensor all ****ed up with exhaust build up or what not and when you nailed it cleared the sensor off and u were good to go. This is why my dad took the vette out a few times this winter and did a few wot runs to ac and back. this would be my guess as to what it was.
