I tried to think of pricing. It would deffinatly come above the current CTS-V's price, but by how much? This car for the same price of a Z06 WOULD be a HUGE steal.
Some thing that this is more of a mule for the next gen CTS-V, as the 2nd gen CTS is coming within 6 months. The wide body kit could hide the larger chassis.
IMO, it seems that the CTS is going up in size, ready to fight the 5/E/A6 class instead of pretending it was a 3/C/A4 class fighter.

i dont think GM is out to sell a bunch of these. i dont think that is what they are trying to do. i think the purpose of this car is to show the germans that americans really do pwn them

Plus any car like that (vette, gto, viper, etc.) is really more of a marketing tool - it generates showroom floor traffic.
