thats what i used to do, i used to use the isuzu as a stump and log puller. but the town came and barracaded the main entrance so the entrance can now only barely fit a quad. the quad is still there cause i havent tried to get it out yet. i might just call my buddy, his quad has a winch

its like a winch, you atach it to a tree and the vehicle, then you us the handle and ratchet it back and it pulls the vehicle out. Ive used it at work plenty of times! saved are asses when the tractor fell off the bride and when we tried to cross the bank to slow.. I still think we should get a winch though! it would help when I get the tractor to do wheely's..

yea i have a 2-ton cablepuller, aka comealong. With one of those, a few rachet straps and a chain, itll easy as hell to get that out. let me know if you need any help, im free most of the time.
I used my cable puller, a while back to load a wrecked iroc in CT onto a trailer, The iroc didnt want to budge at first and the cable puller was actually pulling my dodge ram 2500 and a full uhaul car trailer uphill up the driveway to the car, lol. i had to unhook and use a tree to break the iroc free first. I also used it to fix the frotn end of my sis's jeep when she rearended a civic on RT 17.

where can i get a comealong? i went to autozone today cause that was the only place open and they dont have it. i bet it will make a nice alternative to a heavy ass front mount winch. and this i can use in the rear where i need to be pulled from most of the time
