another "painting a car" question...

ok, im getting an air compressor soon, I want to be able to do some basic painting, not like show quality stuff, but like on a beater car, etc.
What should i look for on a decent compressor? im not gonna spend 1500 bucks though. CFM? tank volume? I am at least getting a 60gal upright and i'd be using a HVLP gun. Mainly it will be just to learn and paint some random parts where perfection is not needed. thanks in advance for any advice.

a 60 gal. tank would be enough stored air for painting. Ideally you will want a dual stage 220v compressor. Most compressors that fit those specs should handle small scale painting without a problem.
