Just purchased what?
And chances are whatever it is won't work at all, or at least not nearly as well as advertised....

Actualy, at work we are running a big Fuel System Cleaning for 59.77. It is actualy pretty cool stuff, does a great job. So if you have 50k or more miles on your car, come on by before the 29th to any Sears Auto Center and ask them for the Fuel System cleaner on sale.

No really, it does a great job. I was always questioned it untill we went to a class for it for training. They brought in one of the managers car, some old F150 and ran it through the cleaning. Pieces of carbon were coming out of the tail pipe, as well as a lot of smoke. My store manager had it doen to his car and he really has noticed some improvment in performance. My brother had it done to his car, my dad is coming into day to get it done, and Ill probably take my mom's car to have it done to hers.

how do they plan on seperating the hydrogen from the tap water? how do they account for the impurities? im not even gonna bother reading that. if gas mileage is that much of a concern get a smaller car. that is the only reasonable solution until alternative fuels come about. i averaged 24 to my last tank which is incredible for my heavy ass foot

and thats a REALLY good price. We charge $121 for the same thing at my dealership. I did it to my jeep which has 166K on it and I noticed a pretty big difference in mileage and power.

Some form of a top end cleaner like Seafoam or GM TEC will help clean out carbon deposits and make the engine run smoother and will allow you to pick up some power and mpg. Sounds like that is what Sears is offering. But a nice, hot ignition system will also clear out that crap and stop it from reforming. The biggest danger is if there is too much carbon that gets blown out and could clog your cat or mess up your O2 sensors. As for the hydrogen thing, I'll wait until an unbiased person tests it out. With the mineral content in our water I can't see that working too well for very long.

Actualy, Mythbusters did the hydrogen thing, and it didnt work at all. It was on last week. They actualy did pour pure hydrogen from a tank into a carb of a 80's Cutlas, and it did run, but the hyrdogen out of water thing did not produce enough gas to run a car.
Our Fuel System Cleaner is a 3 step process. One for the gas tank, one for the Oil, and one for the Intake charge.

well put...buys a v6 fbody dumps in extra weight for the stereo then wants mpg? comon man think about this $260.90 for 20% fuel savings.
If you drive say 1000 miles a month at 25 mpg currently=40 gallons of gas per month at $2.80=$112.00
Lets say with your hydrogen thingamabobber you drive that same 1000 miles at 30mpg which is roughly a 20% increase=33.33gal per month X $2.80=$93.32 which is a savings of a whopping $18.68 per month of savings. But lets say you went another route & put that $260.90 into an ing direct savings account at 4.15% interest you'd have $271.73 in 12 months whereas the hydropooper would've only recouped $224.16 of that $260.90 initial investment in 12 months. In the end it would probably take you close to 15 months to get back your initial investment plus the interest you could've made(from only a simple savings account) I wont even go into what you could've made through an IRA or common stock.

funny some of you guys are so adamant on dismissing hydro-gen so quickly but you failed to read up on this in other forums. I've heard the results are flawless, knowing full well it works and picks up more horsepower..... It works by electrostatic charges into the intake hence (hydrogen) extracting those molecules from tap water and baking soda (a very light amount of it)..... Keeps the carbon down in the engine and runs cleaner, how can that be beat..... I'm only getting 20mpg right now anyways. I've also done the seafoam thing (really only works on higher mileage cars)... no big difference if you dont have anymore than 60k miles
