I would have voted 1st & 3rd (since no 2nd was an avilable choice -you putz ), but w/kids a Camaro is not overly useful every day. So, of the choices, I'd go 1st gen - either a 67 Camaro or any 1st G firechicken.

why not get a beater that is reliable and efficient instead of a crappy inefficient fbody? and also why arent you factoring in the fact that times will be changing by the time you get your liscence? an average family car nowadays is faster then older sports cars for the most part

dont watse your money there is a reason it only costs 6500 bucks....spend the 6500 on your car if you want..or sell your car and take the 6500 and your cars money (2grand) and buy a 4th gen..

no matter how fast your car is..there is always someone faster...my trans am only runs 13's but ive always had fun with it...even when i was stock and only running 15's
