one thing after another

i took my car out for the first time in a while since i installed my new rear, slide a links, shocks, springs, etc. it felt real good, untill the car started missing a little. so i stop by my house, and then decide to limp it to my shop, (about 3 miles away) i get half way there and hear some really bad motor noises and shut it off immediatly and coast into a lot. i then walked back to my house to get my bike to ride back to my garage, to get tools and my truck. i get back to my car pull a valve cover checked all the valves. fine. i go to the other side as soon as i pull the cover off, a roller rocker falls to the ground. all i could do was laugh, i ended up breaking a poly lock and it backed off the stud. this had happened before about 45 minutes from my house once so i had a extra in my car, put it back togather and just parked it. its fine now, but i think i am getting over the whole high mantainance thing. once i get this car into the nines i might be looking for a new toy. nothing to be dissapointed about, i set a goal once achieved i guess i have to move on.

heres another story, i am driving my car today, do a burnout out front of my house and the exhuast i clamped temporarily started leaking a little, so i figure i should probably fix and go to my buddies house and borrow his welder and tack it up. while under there i notice a little oil dripping from the front of the motor. i go up to see what it is and and the balancer bolt was loose, so i tighten it up and the balancer is still wobbling. i cracked it at the keyway. so now i have to replace the balancer, and while its off the road for another week, i am going to get a mid mount alt setup so i can run my electric water pump. i swore i wouldnt abuse my credit card when i got it and i been good for a couple years but i need some stuff and i need it now. i am not really mad still just disappointed.

Sorry to hear that dude! Well I finally got a minute to myself today and finally put the new bushing and seal in the tailshaft and threw in the new driveshaft and all of my vibration problems are gone....But I figured I would take a ride down to the little weekly cruise in Blackwood and damn if my car don't start squeaking like and old bed lol...Well anyway hopefully you will get it straightened out asap..

to continue this bad luck streak, today i was out cruising on my stepdads harley, luckily out with a couple of other guys, and i broke the clutch cable. came home showed my buddy my one little dirtbike made it aruond the yard and got a flat.

i did order my new balancer and it was only 220 bucks. last week at work i made $120. its good thing i have a credit card.
