ATTENTION ALL PAINTBALLERS..

...Who played with Jon(bad64chevelle) and martin(darkknight320948230984) at the farm down in Bordentown. Get bloodwork done for Lymes disease. I just returned from the doctor's office after discovering this on my arm:

My symptoms included the following:
-Fever.
-Aches and pains all over, specifically in my joints.
-Headache.
-4 inch "ring" near the spot i was bitten by the deer tick.

Make sure you get checked out asap, because if you discover the disease later you will be hospitalized with an antibiotic IV.

Damn j0n....that sucks. Lymes disease is no fun, my brother had it several years ago and he still has problems with his knees.

I had a minor case of lymes when I was little (3rd grade i think) ... it was caught early... I remember the school nurse yanking the tick off the back of my neck.

But one of my good friends had it really bad in middle school. His case was so bad he was outta school for like 3/4's of the school year.

Hope everythings alright jon

same here. Dont have to go too far tho. I only had one of those big ass woods ticks on me that day, and whoever that guy was who was burning the **** outta the 20 ticks he had on him and then plucking them off really needs to go to the doctors. (Alex please let that guy know!)

EDIT**
As much as it kills me to say this, but I think we shouldnt go back there anymore for paintball, even though its only one of the best places almost EVER its not worth it for people to get sick from it. Or we can wait and hopefully go back when the tick numbers go down. Its really gonna be tough going back to the old place after we had been to the Colombus farm...

Actually I kinda liked the old place, and as soon as it starts getting colder we should be able to go back.

It doesn't get any better until there is a frost. when it starts getting colder, it actually makes it easier for you to get a tick. ticks are blind, so they know when to drop from a tree or jump on you when they feel your body heat compared to the outdoor temperature. So if it's cooler outside, they have a much better chance of sensing your body heat. The best thing to do is use repellant containing DEET and also wear long pants and sleeves whenever comfortable enough to do so.

We were wearing long pants and most of us sleeves.I guess we should try deet, we thought of that too late last time to go get some. Maybe just gonna have to wait till winter.

Martin the old place is toooo small and I hate all the thorn bushes, unless you meant spring street, and we are not going back there cause the ****ing cops will be there in no time.

That's what I meant. Maybe we could talk to the cops or something. Let them know what's up. The cops didn't care we were there, what screwed it up were the douchebag kids that were shooting peoples houses. Maybe we could work out some sort of arrangement with the local PD or something. If we approach the situation calmly and responsably we might get somewhere.

Negative, I already spoke to them. They have my name and number so if anything happens back there you know who they will come looking for first. Spring street will never be used again....such a shame.
