New steering wheel?

I have a leather-wrapped steering wheel in the IROC with the round horn cover and three spoke design like a "T". There is black goo seeping from the leather joints which gets all over my hands. Do you think I'm better just covering it with a leather cover or getting a new wheel? If you think new wheel ny ideas on ones that don't look stupid (i.e. the one with the big GT in the middle). I want something that will blend with the rest of the interior which does not have any chrome.

I have a nice simple Grant wheel.....I believe it's the collector. It's just a black 3 spoke design. A great add on if you go with Grant is the anti-theft kit they sell that allows you to easily remove the wheel and cover the column hub with a metal safety cover.

Agreed. If Im not mistaken, wouldnt a 4th gen steering wheel bolt right onto it? I think ive read that somewhere.

I do think a 4th gen wheel will bolt on, but then you have an airbag there to deal with....

No Chrome? I vote for Grant. The chrome does look good though. I am running 2 chrome Grants and one black Grant in my 3 cars. Both Irocs have black interiors and both look great, My black vert has a silver stereo and the wheel and stereo really set each other off
