how does the stock shift knob come off a thirdgen t5? lol i know it sounds stupid, but it doesnt seem to twist off like many others.... is it possible that its glued on? or is te metal shaft connected to it some how?
My Hurst 3rd-gen knob is screwed on, I imagine the stock one is also so you could re-use it if you bought an aftermarket shifter. It's probably never been off though, and that's why it's so tough!
